Background & Career:

Padraig Walshe is Chairman of Farmer Business Developments plc, the Company’s largest shareholder, and a dairy farmer.

He is a past President of COPA, the European Farmers’ Organisation and of the Irish Farmers’ Association. Mr. Walshe previously served on the Board of FBD between 2006 and 2010, and rejoined the Board in December 2011.

Mr. Walshe’s extensive leadership experience at national and international level and his deep understanding of Ireland’s farming community and the Irish food sector are of immense benefit to the Board. (aged )
