Skills and experience:

Colm McGrattan is an experienced insurance executive with two decades of board-level leadership in both insurer and broker organisations.

He was an Executive Director and Board member of AXA Insurance Dac until 2017 where was responsible for commercial operations across direct, broker and partnership channels.

Since 2017 Mr McGrattan has worked as an Independent non-executive director and consultant advising major insurance brokers. Mr McGrattan has background in HR in both the public and private sectors.

He was Assistant Chief Executive of the Local Government Management Agency prior to taking up the role of HR Director with AXA Insurance Dac.

Mr McGrattan holds a Masters of Business Studies (HRM) and an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching. He is a Chartered Director, a Certified Insurance Director, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and he is a Certified Mediator with the Mediators Institute of Ireland.
